Clothes & Colors in French A1

Good to know

• Trousers, jeans, shorts and pajamas are singular in French: « le pantalon », « le jean », « le short », « le pyjama ».
• Colors agree like other adjectives (une robe verte), except « marron » and « orange », which never change: « des chaussures marron » (brown shoes).
• « Porter » means to wear, « mettre » means to put on.
