Good to know
- In France a flat is counted by rooms, not bedrooms: « un deux-pièces » has a living room and one bedroom.
- « Charges comprises » means the service charges are included in the rent. Always check before you sign.
- « Déménager » is to move out, « emménager » to move in. « Pendre la crémaillère » is the house-warming party.
